How to configure VFD

Which box is it?

It’s a Leelbox Q2 mini ( Leelbox Smart-TV-Box Q2 MINI Quad Core 2 GB RAM + 16 GB ROM/ 4K * 2K UHD H.265/ HDMI/USB * 2/ WLAN-Media-Player/Android-Set-Top-Box)

The configuration and display look similar to a t95m-s905x-vfd.conf, try it.

Wow, yes thanks it works! Thank you very much!

Hi I have x96 air 2gb but i think it is another (first?¿)version.
When I flash android v2 rom I lost vdf in android.
Stock firmware was X96Air_20191017-1108 but I don´t find it to restore.
In coreelec I try all config files from repository but it doesn`t work vfd.
Is posible to work in coreelec? wrong uboot?¿
thanks and sorry for my english.

Android doesn’t use the same setup as CoreELEC. In Android the driver and configuration are tightly coupled, and are device specific. It’s possible that you installed the wrong firmware version.

I would need a screenshot of the following command in Android’s terminal:
cat /sys/kernel/debug/gpio
And/Or the original DTB file from Android (the version that has a working VFD)

I don´t have stock firmware , searching firmware , I find this:

This firmware doesn’t have VFD support, so no useful info in there.

vfd gpio is diferent number with x96 air .conf ?
https://discourse.coreelec.org/uploads/default/original/2X/f/f3ddf4b3bab4cdf2369eca43a9f77424d1706670.jpeg

I kind of got lost among all of the X96 devices. I think there was one type of X96 with 2GB ram we never figured out how the vfd works.

is it posible to edit gpio number?
in android not working rom have diferent gpio number if that screenshot work.

Looks like your android image doesn’t have the vfd driver at all.

Thanks a lot for this, it works great!!

I found a way to install coreelec on a tv box eachlink x3 mini. Sorry for my English it is from google traslate.

Welcome with your first post. I edited your post to add a picture of your box.

I presume you already installed CoreELEC and want your led display to work.?
